SkillDillies™ is an assortment of three animal friends that focus on specific fine motor development needs. Fine motor skills are basic, essential skills that babies need to learn and develop as they grow and meet milestones. These skills—grasping, poking, twisting, pointing, pincer grasp, hand-to-hand transfer—are needed for future success in holding a pencil, turning a knob to open a door, holding their own food and drink, and so on. Providing children with engaging toys is a fun way help with their development.

Each 4″ – 5″ SkillDillies character is made using sustainable wood, smooth plastic and soft silicone rubber. The snail has a knob for babies to practice grasping and twisting and turning, and children can also push the snail and make it roll along! The owl, with two handle-like wings, allows babies to practice hand-to-hand transfer, as well as turning with the movable head. The fish, with its soft pegs that pop up and down, is perfect for practicing the pincer grasp. SkillDillies inspire wonder and giggle for age 0 – 6 months.

The First Game of its Kind, Drone Home, and a Game that has Kids Acting like an Octopus Will Become New Favorites in the Game Aisle

BELOIT, Wis. (February 22, 2020) — PlayMonster cast a wide net in search of a new, exciting kids game, and caught two winners with Drone Home™ and Stacktopus®, each offering unique and exciting game play to engage and entertain kids and families! Race to preview these games at North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 22 – 25 at booth #435.

Drone Home is the first-ever game with a real drone, which adds a flying payoff to game play! In the exciting head-to-head competitive play, kids race to launch their aliens down ramps to get them into the drone. When an alien lands inside, it triggers the drone to start up and fly. Because there is a delay, other players can sabotage the flight by knocking the alien out with their own aliens! When the drone eventually takes off, any aliens inside it “make it safely home”! The goal is to get rid of all your aliens! The suspense and action is intensely fun for 2 to 4 players, ages 6 and up.

The fun kids game Stacktopus may seem easy—kids have to simply race to stack color cups to match the configurations on the colorful cards—but there’s a twist! Each player must wear three silly sea fingers and use only those fingers to grasp, hold and maneuver the cups! It ends up getting really silly and really funny! It’s even more amusing when adults play with kids because everyone is on even ground, and what’s not funny about watching your dad or grandma wear octopus arms and try to pick up cups?! Even when not playing the game, kids end up wearing the silly sea fingers and having tons of fun with them! Stacktopus is fun for ages 5 and up, and is great for 1 to 3 players.

As Strategy Games Gain Popularity Among Consumers, PlayMonster Reconfigures its Line to Offer Something for Everyone

BELOIT, Wis. (February 22, 2020) — PlayMonster has created three new strategy games to appeal to various ages and interests, all featuring stunning graphics and exciting game play! These unique games will be shown at North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 22 – 25 at booth #435.

Trailz™ is the down-to-the-earth strategy game where teams of shrooms and slugs face off to out-smart and out-maneuver each other to get to the other side of the ground (board)! It’s a light-hearted and unconventional theme for a strategy game, which adds extra fun and appeals to a wider audience, making strategy games more accessible. Kids can play the game, and adults can play with kids, and use as little or as much strategy as they want! It’s a great way to get a younger generation interested in strategy play! This cleverly simple, yet challenging game is for 2 players, ages 7 and up.

The second game, Reign™, focuses on the excitement and player elimination of battle royale play, and adds the unique element of a “shrinking” break-away game board. Four different factions—Droids, Samurais, Barbarians and Super Soldiers—are each controlled by one player, and fight to be the last one standing on a tumultuous piece of land. As they race to safety and fight their opponents, natural disasters take out chunks of the land (game board) and take any players occupying that space with them. The game is different each time you play, so a strategy you used previously may not work again! It’s an innovative and unpredictable game for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.

Windward™ is a more in-depth strategy game that began on Kickstarter, where it was fully funded in the first 33 minutes of its campaign. The game features awe-inspiring artwork and high-quality game pieces worthy of collectors. Game play revolves around an intricate, immersive world where players strive to become the most notorious captain on the gaseous planet of Celus. They can become the master of the skies by hunting leviathans, plundering opponents, and using cunning maneuvers to harness the power of the ever-changing wind. It’s a different game each time it’s played, and strategies have to morph and adapt to that change! For 2 to 5 players, ages 14 to adult.

TAG™ combines the thrill and suspense of an elimintion game with the creativity and freedom of real-time competition to bring Live Action Gaming to the game aisle for the first time. There’s no sitting down at a table and playing nice—it’s an on-going game of trying to eliminate other players so you’re the last one! Each player is assigned a color identification, and gets a target and a method. For example, your target may be “blue” and your method card may indicate that you have to eliminate them by tricking them into standing under your method card. So, you may wedge it into the top of a door frame and call them into the room, causing them to pause in the doorway, and a-ha! You have successfully eliminated them! “Blue” is now out of the game and hands over their target and method so you now have new ones! This game can take hours, days or weeks—it depends on where you’re playing and who you’re playing with. It’s great for college campuses, offices, family vacations and more! For up to 10 players, ages 14+.

Relative Insanity® See What I Mean?!™ is the newest addition to the hilarious brand made and played by comedian Jeff Foxworthy! In this game, you now have photos—crazy ones that you’d see in family albums or posted online by relatives—and you play cards that caption those photos! Players “Break In” to Discover Exciting and Mysterious Places as they Solve Puzzles and Peel Back Layers of the Expanding 3D Game

BELOIT, Wis. (February 22, 2020) — PlayMonster is launching Break In™, a game line which some have touted  as a “movie in a box” due to its thrilling, immersive and entertaining experience in cooperative play. These experiential games will be shown at North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 22 – 25 at booth #435.

To escape, you must first… Break In™! It’s a collaborative experience unlike any other—and it begins the moment you lift the lid off the game box. Inside, you will see a 3D shape with graphics representing the area you are trying to break into. Your paperwork tells you to STOP and make sure you are all ready before you begin—gets your cards laid out and settle in with all the players. Read your instructions and then begin looking for clues to solve puzzles! Soon, you will be told to open the game board and unfold the first of three layers, expanding your board and revealing the next layer you have to explore to uncover clues that will lead you further inside! It’s a one-of-a-kind unboxing experience! Along the way, you see wonderful things, meet interesting characters, and complete amazing challenges using clever hints and a unique solution system. The final puzzle leads you to your goal, and then you must escape!

The Break In line debuts with three titles of different difficulty levels: Area 51, Alcatraz and Chichén Itzá. All are real places, with fictional stories built around them.

• In Area 51, you are an alien trying to rescue your ship that was stolen by humans and is being dismantled deep inside the facility. This game is for ages 12+ and takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete.
• With Alcatraz, you are attempting to break in to the prison in 1962 to help your friends, current prisoners, escape.
• The third title, Chichén Itzá, takes place in 1833, and in your studies of the ancient Mayans you have come across clues that allude to secret pyramids and a legendary throne. And now you go in search of them, entering Chichén Itzá!
• Chichén Itzá and Alcatraz are for ages 10+ and take about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.

Each game is different, and will be a thrill for game nights for up to 6 players. In the end, you’ll be left with a 3D plastic “trophy”!
