BELOIT, Wis. (February 22, 2020) — After a successful relaunch of the Mirari® brand in 2019, PlayMonster develops three new toys that fit the line’s values of quality play with sustainable material, and focus on different play patterns. The newest Mirari toys will be demonstrated at North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 22 – 25 at booth #435.
SillySkillies™ is an assortment of five roly-poly wiggly-wobbly friends that focus on specific fine motor development needs. Each 4” – 5” animal character has a sustainable wood base that’s smooth and rounded so the silly toy sways and wobbles. The silicone rubber top area is where the animal characters shines through and children see fun colors and details! The Whale focuses on grasping and teething, the Pig is for poking and pointing play, the Duck is all about cause and effect, the Cat helps practice the pincer grip, and the Owl is for grasping hand-to-hand midline cross. SillySkillies inspire wonder and giggle for age 3 months and up.
The Surprise Sorter™ is an adorable, colorful shape sorter that offer children a fun surprise. Children drop in the heart, circle, square and rectangle pieces, and then press the cute Mirari button to hear a giggle and experience all of the shapes popping back out of their holes! It’s developmental fun for ages 6 months and up.
Wavy Tumble Tower™, Mirari’s largest toy, allows children to play sitting down or standing up—it’s a great grow-with-me toy! The tower itself is full of paths with twists and turns, and children set blocks at the top and watch them “walk” down the paths as they turn the mechanical knobs to “activate” gravity! Each block will feature a unique sound as it travels down the tower, along with a fun learning element such as color, letter or number. It’s great fun for ages 9 months and up.
