Color Monsters Full of Personality Make Awesome Collectible Figures

BELOIT, Wis. (January 28, 2019) — PlayMonster LLC has joined forces with Wind Sun Sky, in partnership with Skybound Entertainment and Big Blue Bubble, as master toy license in North America for the top-grossing mobile game My Singing Monsters. PlayMonster plans a multi-year program for figures, playsets, games and accessories. The first wave of this program, a line of collectible harmonizing figures and accessories, will be unveiled during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.

In My Singing Monsters, players young and old add monsters to their islands to create songs. Each monster has its own personality and part in the song, so the song changes as more monsters are added. Along the way, players feed and breed their monsters, and add structures for hours of fun. The game has 80+ million players worldwide, with one million players added monthly, plus 410+ million YouTube views. Fans are ready to see the game and its characters come to life, and PlayMonster agrees:

For 2019, PlayMonster will launch the My Singing Monster Harmonizing Collectibles in July. The popular Plant Island monsters Entbrat, Furcorn, Toe Jammer, Mammott, Noggin and Maw will be articulate 3D figures that sing on their own, and harmonize together when multiple are collected. Each monster is sold separately, and comes with one of its favorite accessories from the mobile game. More monsters are planned to follow in early 2020.

Also debuting in 2019 will be the My Singing Monster Babies, which are baby versions of the popular monsters. Each baby monster comes inside its unique and colorful egg and make adorable collectibles. PlayMonster plans to release eight babies per year.

Young Inventor Challenge Winners with Great Game Concepts will See Their Hard Work Pay Off and Bring Fun to Other Kids and Families!

BELOIT, Wis. (January 28, 2019) — PlayMonster, a proud sponsor of the Chicago Toy & Game Week’s Young Inventor Challenge, is proud to be producing the fun and creative games of two of the recent years’ winners. The new games will be revealed during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.

PlayMonster is a proud sponsor of the annual Young Inventor’s Challenge held in Chicago during Toy & Game Week. The Young Inventor Challenge provides an opportunity for children to showcase their own original toy and game inventions to toy industry professionals, members of media and the general public and ignite their imagination, creativity and presentation skills!

Because PlayMonster believes in the importance of play, and the importance of encouraging and nurturing play and creativity, they take part in the Young Inventor Challenge event, reviewing concepts and offering mentorship and advice to young inventors. With that, they have taken the opportunity to work with young people and produce their game ideas.

Goo on My Shoe™, a board game invented by 9-year-old Edie, is a fun pathway game with 3D shoe pawns that “walk” around the board, trying to avoid the little blobs of putty-like goo that could be things such as gum, poo, slime, etc. Players can also strategically leave piles of goo for other players to encounter. The goal is to make it to the fountain and “wash” the goo off your shoe! For 2 to 4 players ages 4 and up, this game will be available Fall 2019.

Draw Into Crime™, a “sketchy” game by 11-year-old Tiggy, is a mix or mystery, deduction and drawing! A crime has been committed, and one player has seen the suspect. Other players ask questions to try and figure out what the “perp” looked like and draw a sketch of the criminal. The player who gets closest to the actual picture of the suspect wins that round! You don’t necessarily have to be a good artist, just a good detective! Perfect fun for 3 or more players, ages 6 and up, Draw Into Crime will arrive on shelves in Fall 2019.

Jeff Foxworthy’s Successful Relative Insanity Game Gets a Follow up One Year Later

BELOIT, Wis. (January 28, 2019) — When PlayMonster launched comedian Jeff Foxworthy’s hilarious game Relative Insanity at last year’s Toy Fair, it was the beginning of a very successful game line. Because it’s such a hit, and fans and players are begging for more hilarious content, Foxworthy wrote more material about crazy families and PlayMonster developed a smaller stand-alone game that can also be added to the original. The game will be revealed during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.

Game play is the same as the original game fans love, allowing player to mix and match bits of Foxworthy’s comedy that creates wacky situations about family. Everyone has a crazy friend or family member (or two or three…) and can totally relate to this game’s hilarious situations and humor!

In Relative Insanity, one player will read a setup card, such as “When the customs agent asked my mother if she had anything to declare, she blurted out…” and the other players will decide which of their punch line cards they want to play. So maybe you’d end up with these statements:

1. Your face could stop a clock.
2. I can’t button my britches!
3. In my fantasy, I’m wearing a camouflage thong!
4. I will pay you to scratch my chigger bites.
5. I have a little condensation in my basement.
6. Girrrrrlllll, please!

 

The reader then gets to choose their favorite punch line, and the owner of that card gets a point!

This peggable game features 30 all new setup cards and 150 all new punch lines. Foxworthy originally created the game with laughter in mind, inspired by the insanity of his own family and friends. And because the insanity never ends, he keeps on writing more cards! Relative Insanity Expansion/Travel Pack is a fun game on its own, or added to the original game, and is for 4 to 12 players, ages 14 to adult, and lands on shelves in Summer 2019.

Players Will Have a Blast with Pop Culture Trivia and Cheeky Humor!

BELOIT, Wis. (February 6, 2019) — Keep the party going strong with all new PlayMonster games! Game night fun just gets better with The Logo Game’s® trivia about America’s favorite brands, and the hilarious attitude of Kiss My Bass™–Pucker up, buttercup! The new games will be revealed during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.

The Logo Game joins PlayMonster’s award-winning party game line for 2019. The game was a top-seller for years, and PlayMonster recently gained the license and is excited to release a new version of the game. The Logo Game will have all new content featuring new and nostalgic brands, and players will have fun with trivia about popular logos, commercials, facts and more! Plus, the new version features 3D pewter pawns of fun items and characters! For 2 to 6 players ages 12 to adult, this game is available Fall 2019.

Mirari Remains an Innovative Brand with Great Play Value, Now with a New Look
