PLAYMONSTER BRINGS POPULAR EUROPEAN CRAFT AND ACTIVITY LINES TO THE US
The Adorable Craft Toys Fuzzikins and the Cool, Fun Fab Lab Line of Temporary Tattoos, Hair Color, Bath Bombs and More Expand PlayMonster’s Offering in US
BELOIT, Wis. (February 6, 2019) — PlayMonster’s recent acquisition of Interplay in the UK has expanded its product lines and categories, and with that, Fuzzikins™ and Fab Lab™ are the first to make their debuts in the U.S., and will do so during North American International Toy Fair in New York, February 16 – 19 at booth #435.
Launched in the UK in 2016, Fuzzikins has become a very popular customized toy line in the UK. Bringing it to the U.S. will be a seamless expansion, much like My Fairy Garden was for PlayMonster a few years earlier.
Fuzzikins are 3D adorable, fuzzy animals such as kittens, puppies and bunnies. They are all covered in white flocking, and come with special washable markers that children use to design, color and decorate their new animal friends. Children love creating toys that look like their own pets, or using their imagination to make colorful and unique animals! The best part is that the creativity can be endless because the color easily rinses off when the character is placed under running water. Once it’s dry, children can start all over!
The Fuzzikins line also includes playsets and vehicles so children can create their very own animal world, which adds even more play value to this craft toy, and is fun for girls and boys, ages 4 and up. Look for it on U.S. shelves in spring of 2019.
Fab Lab was launched in the UK in 2015 and was a hit right from the start, with TV advertising running since 2015. Having never offered an activity line such as Fab Lab, PlayMonster is excited to expand its category offering with a high-quality, proven product line. Fab Lab features a range of activities such as Glitter Tattoos, Bath Bombs, Hairlights, Nail Art and Tie Dye kits. The line includes a wide range of on-trend kits to interest everyone, and all products are non-toxic and include components from only the top cosmetic factories.
Fab Lab, is not about beauty, glamour or sexuality—it focuses on allowing girls to explore, play and experiment with their style and individuality in a safe and fun way. Each kit includes full-color instruction booklets, and is geared toward ages 8 and up. Look for Fab Lab on U.S. shelves in spring of 2019.
