BELOIT, Wis.— Patch Products is thrilled to announce they have signed a distribution agreement with Colorific, granting Patch the exclusive right to market and distribute Wood WorX™ craft kits in the United States and Canada, effective January 1, 2014.

Wood WorX kits are proven best-sellers in Europe and Australia for Colorific, and now Patch will distribute them in North America! The crafty kits are made of high-quality wood, and are fun and easy to assemble! Each kit has easy-to-follow instructions that allow children to build something different and includes glue, paint and decals to make a customized toy. Once they build the jet fighter, jewelry box, etc., children can actually play with and use their new wooden toy or accessory. This building toy is a great way for children to create and personalize playthings for themselves!

Colorific, one of Australia’s leading family-owned toy and educational resources companies, has sold over two million units of Wood WorX since its launch in 2004, selling over 750,000 in the past two years alone. Wood WorX is Colorific’s top brand, and Patch is excited to now be adding it to its Lauri line of craft, developmental and educational products, and Patch will strive to continue its success on a new continent!

BELOIT, Wis.— Dining at Chick-fil-A is not only a scrumptious experience, it’s also an entertaining one! While munching on some chicken, families can now play compact versions of popular Patch games!

Patch Products and Chick-fil-A are teaming up to offer restaurant guests the chance to play a series of fun, family games. Starting at the end of February, Chick-fil-A Kid’s Meal promotions at participating restaurants will be one of Patch’s popular games: 5 Second Rule®, Buzzword® Junior, Go Ape!®, 100 Wacky Things® and Swap!® 

The game promotion, which will last for approximately four weeks, is designed to bring families together, enhance communication and stimulate young minds, all while having fun and enjoying a good meal!

These jobs are hilarious, screwy, over-the-top, and the workers are even crazier! One player is the “client,” choosing a card and reading aloud the job. All other players use their business cards, selecting the best one for the job, and telling the client why they should be hired! 

For example, a player may read the job card “There’s a poodle stuck in the tree. Can you get it down?” And you may have the clown’s business card, Beau Zeau, so you could sell yourself like this: “I have a loud horn and water-squirting flower. If you hire me, I’ll startle the poodle and he’ll run home.” Sometimes the silly names and witty taglines sell themselves, sometimes you may want to act the part and boast about your imaginary skills! Odd Jobs have never been more fun! For four or more players, ages 14 to adult.

BELOIT, Wis.— American International Toy Fair, the toy industry’s largest U.S. event, pops up in New York City each February, as hundreds of toy and game companies from around the world showcase their latest and greatest playthings. Patch Products is eager to exhibit its newest innovative toys in their Mirari® preschool line, the recently-signed-on Stratego® and Wood WorX™ brands, the all-new Perplexus Warp™ 3D maze game, and fun new games and activities!

Between Feb. 16 and Feb. 19, representatives from Patch will meet with national media, retailers, inventors and toy industry leaders to give a first glimpse of the items that will be hitting store shelves this year. The 2014 assortment is an exciting one – as Patch delves into the strategy games category with a well-established brand, adds wood crafts to their Lauri® line and expands their new, and thriving, preschool line.

A few highlights:
Mirari:
From the Latin word for “wonder” and “amaze,” Mirari delights children with classic play in an innovative way. New additions to the array of toys are myPhone™ and Bouncy Bop™ Shape Sorter. myPhone mimics the look of smartphones and allows parents to record a message to children, then activate it using the included remote! Bouncy Bop Shape Sorter brings acrobatics to shape sorting with a bouncy surface where sorted shapes land and go boing!

Stratego:
Stratego is the classic game of battlefield strategy that has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. For over 50 years, Stratego has thrilled strategy game fans by inspiring them to challenge an opponent and attempt to lead their army to victory. And the challenge? It’s Capture the Flag!

Perplexus Warp:
Warp is unlike any of its Perplexus predecessors — it’s a whole new warped shape that the designers call a spherical octahedron! The 3D maze game features an external slider used to manipulate the ball inside. Also, it has nine “baskets” to leap into, an internal pivot that creates the illusion of a magnet helping the ball across a tricky bridge, six flagged check points, 50 challenging events and has a difficulty level of six. For ages 6 and up.

Wood WorX:
Wood WorX wood craft kits are proven best-sellers in Europe and Australia, and now Patch distributes them in the U.S.! Each kit allows children to build something different and includes glue, paint and decals to make an awesome customized toy that they can play with or display when they are finished.

Family Games:
Two new additions to Patch’s line of family games are Yowza!™ and Stinky Pig™. Yowza! is a fast-paced card game full of silly chant words and discard madness. Chant along as players discard, and if your card matches the word chanted, you have to take the discard pile! The goal is to get rid of your cards first! Stinky Pig is a quick game children will love. The 3D pig gets passed around while he sings lazily, but you don’t want to be the one holding him when you hear him “toot!”
